In preparation for EBCOG Part 2 exam I took BeMRCOG Part 3 course. It was an eye-opening experience for me when it came to identifying and putting into practice Advanced Communication Skills and Clinical Governance (Part of Ultimate package, also available as separate Workshops). I learnt in a structured way when and what to expect in challenging interpersonal communication situations, and it gave me confidence that I could handle them both with empathy and professionalism. Additionally, Clinical governance workshop boosted my arsenal of knowledge and skills, that resulted in a deeper understanding of importance of CG and swift connection of facts (instead of just learning the Audit/Risk management/Quality improvement or critical appraisal etc. steps by heart). Besides workshops, Group Practice was an enjoyable experience based on simulation techniques. Additionally, it guided me with a quality feedback from talented and dilligent BeMRCOG workers. Last but not least, Dr Asma was a great mentor that individually approached preparation plan and her experience in teaching shone through. Thank you BeMRCOG from the successful EBCOG candidate:)
